25.06.2009 I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel
exceeded my expectations.

25.06.2009 The hotel is clean and well presented. The staff are attentive and pleasant. The breakfast was very good and we were served very promptly. The bedroom and en suite was however quite cramped and there was very little storage space for clothing, also the lighting in the room was not bright enough. The free parking was a bonus!

25.06.2009 We liked everything about the hotel. It was just the right size, the staff was very friendly, our room was large, quiet and had a nice view, the food in the restaurant was quite good and the location was great. This was a combination business/pleasure trip and we couldn't imagine a better hotel for this stay.

25.06.2009 Hotel was ideally placed, close to the centre of Edinburgh with most sights within walking distance. The Hotel itself was contemporary but did not lose in any way the traditional charm of an olde Edinburgh Hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone travelling to Edinburgh.

Personally, next time I book a Hotel it will be through Skoosh... very easy and the prices were second to none!

-the fact that the housemaid managed to clean the room even though we only left the room for 2 hours in the afternoon
-staff was very friendly!
-bathtub in the lowest rated room
-huge comfortable bed
-coffe/tea/cookies were provided in the room and were refilled daily

disappointed:
-definetly the dinner! We really had great expectation as they advertised themselfes as being very innovtive but our expectations haven´t been met at all and it was quite expensive too
- room kind of small
- view wasn´t too nice

24.09.2007 Voor het bezoeken van de stad Edinburgh is dit een toplocatie/hotel. Het is een 4 sterren hotel dus wel in de duurdere prijsklasse. Op zo'n 5 minuten lopen van de hoofdstraat en bushalte naar vliegveld. In een rustige, statige straat. Geen geluidsoverlast in en om kamer. Kamers in Georgian pand heel stijlvol en aangepast aan de moderne tijd (o.m. flatscreen t.v.). Service bij check-in en van personeel heel geruisloos maar wel op en top. Prima ontbijt deels buffet en deels ter plekke bereid. Geboekt via touroperator (zowel hotel als vlucht). Vliegveld een half uur verwijderd en makkelijk te bereiken per shuttle bus (100) die iedere tien minuten rijdt. Absolute aanrader!

17.07.2006 Uitstekend hotel vlakbij centrum in een rustige woonwijk. Grote luxe kamers. Zakelijke, maar prettige bediening. Het hotel is ademt een prettige sfeer.
