25.01.2011 Komme gerade von meinem Island Urlaub und es war super.
Ein wunderbares Land und besonderst im Winter gibt es fast keine Touristen hier.
Wir haben im Blue House B&B übernachtet weil wir bewusst eine Unterkunft gebucht haben die bewusst klein ist da wir keine Massenunterkünft mögen.
Dies war auch der Fall da dieses Guesthouse nur 2 Gästezimmer beherbergt.
Also waren wir als Familie die einzigen Gäste und so war das ideal.
Die Kinder möchten besonderst den anliegenden Garten wo Sie im Schnee spielen konnten.

Wir wurden vom Gastgeber am Busterminal abgeholt dieser brachte uns gelich zu unserem Zimmer.
Ales sehr gepflegt und sauber.
Wir sind sehr glücklich und haben die Lage besonderst genossen mit Aussicht zum Leuchturm. Toll war auch dass wir das Handballspiel Island - Deutschland auf dem Beamer mit dem Gastgeber anschauen konnten und weiteren Isländern.
Das wir ganz toll und ein schöner Abend.

12.01.2011 Very lovely house at very beautiful peninsular~Reykjavik is not big so the location of this hostel is just convenient to reach out into the city. The house has just been refurbished and it's brand new! Rather than a hostel, it feels more like a home. The owners are very nice people and the travel advice they provide to us is very helpful (and indeed professional)~The hostel has everything that a traveler needs, so basically you pay for the hostel and you can go there with bare hands~haha~

06.01.2011 our family decided to stay at the blue house 'B&B in reykjavik last summer.
and we can recommend it.
For our kids there were many possibilities to play in the garden or at th hotpot. The sea is just in walking distance and easy accesable with the rental car where we had our own parking space.
The rooms are not large but big enough for the kids and us. the were extra rooms were the kids could hang out at the one rainy day we had.
the hosts were very patient to us and were making an effort for us to feel welcome.
The price is ok for icelandic standard and the included breakfast had a nice variety.
We can recommend it to everybody that wants to stay at an old icelandic house with great hosts.
