The hotel was fine but not exceptional. It seemed very tired and could do with a refurb. The location was good, and the room they gave me at the back of the hotel was free of any traffic noise, but the walls were quite thin so I could hear people talking loudly in the mornings.
The lifts were old, tiny and slow, and made going to and fro quite slow. The breakfast on offer was acceptable but nothing special. The scrambled eggs looked like they needed to be avoided! The staff however, were polite, unobtrusive and helpful.
The hotel is a short walk from Ternes and CDG Etoile metro stations. I found it easier to come and go by bus mostly, with lines running to Les Invalide, the big department stores at Bd Haussman, and Gare du Nord, from the end of the street.
